CAPTUREome Thiol Resin is a cross-linked agarose resin used for the reversible immobilisation of molecules containing thiol groups. This resin is popular in the S-acylation and S-nitrosylation research fields. It permits the reversible, covalent bonding of proteins, peptides and small thiol-containing ligands through thiol groups to the agarose resin via a small hydroxypropyl spacer arm. This permits the recovery of thiol-containing components by cleavage (reduction) of the mixed disulphides on the resin.
