Description

Immunogen
Synthetic peptide (LGRRAS(PO3H2)FHLE1932) corresponding to amino acids surrounding the phosphorylated serine residue at position 1928 of α1c subunit of Cav1.2 from rabbit conjugated to KLH.
Species reactivity
The epitope peptide aligns exactly to Human Cav1.2 α1c isoforms 1-23 (See QC datasheet– Ep/Is alignment). The antibody has been shown to recognise phosphorylated serine-1928 of rat Cav1.2 (α1c), and binding is blocked in the presence of a peptide containing the Phospho Ser-1928 epitope.
Storage
Lyophilised antiserum is stable at 4°C when stored with desiccant. Reconstitute lyophilised powder in 50 µl of 18 MΩ H2O, aliquot and store frozen at -80°C for 1 year. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles. Lyophilised: 4 °C. Reconstituted:-80 °C
