Rabbit polyclonal affinity-purified antibody containing IgG antibody specific for Ser-38 phosphorylated forms of SERCA2
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide (K31LKERWGS(PO3H2)NEL41) corresponding to amino acids surrounding the phosphorylated serine residue at position 38 of SERCA2, conjugated to KLH.
Species reactivity
The antibody recognises the phospho Ser-38 epitope within a peptide, which is part of a positive control protein since Ser-38 has yet to be shown to be phosphorylated in canine cardiac SR samples (Rodriguez et al., 2004 J Biol Chem 279, 17111-9).
Storage
Lyophilised antibody is formuated in a freeze-dried state with a sugar/polymer additive; it is stable at 4°C when stored with desiccant. Reconstitute lyophilised powder in 50 µl of 18 MΩ H2O, aliquot and store frozen at -80°C for 1 year. Avoid freeze – thaw cycles. Lyophilised: 4°C. Reconstituted:-80°C
